My Time Made Easy Preview Day: Simply Stunning Gifts

Can you believe we are previewing the June release of My Time Made Easy?  So happy June is on its way because that means SUMMER!  This month we only have one template (keeping it simple for the summer!) and it's called Tapered Off.  It's quite large and very easy to pull together.  I decorated it with a new digital paper pack called Tiny Town.

Here's a top view so you can see my pretty bow!  The tag was made using the BFF Valentine Tags cut file and I added this adorable door and sentiment from the new There's No Place Like Home digital stamp set.  This is a very cool set.  It comes with five different wreaths to add to the door for various holidays, several sentiments, and a window with several different accents for it, as well as other items for a home.  Very versatile!

There is a topper to the template that comes off.  Sort of like the roof.  This is what it looks like with the top off.

And this is what the template looks like open.  I always forget to take pictures of the templates open, so today I remembered!

Like I said before, this template is roomy.  I had a jar candle on hand to show the size better.  It fit in there with lots of room for other things you might give as a house warming gift.

So what might you put in this template?

The whole team is posting today.  Stop by their blogs and see what they've created.

The MTME June release will be on Saturday, June 1.  All items are digital, so they will be ready to purchase, download, and use that day!  No waiting!

Fusion Card Challenge #8

Hi everyone!  I hope my US friends enjoyed a long Memorial Day weekend.  I was at my cabin and spent the weekend with some great friends and family!

The card I'm sharing today I colored on Saturday before I left, but didn't have time to finish it.  I wanted to enter the Papertrey Ink blog hop, but didn't get it done in time.  But I could still enter it in the Fusion Card Challenge!  I loved the photo this week.  It gave me a chance to use a couple of PTI stamp sets I have never used.

I just love these tulips!  I colored them with various RV, YR, BG, and YG copics.  This is a very large stamp and I hade to make the card 4.25 x 6.  It didn't leave much room for embellishments.  As it is, I used Sweet Threads dp from Basic Grey which is hard to see.  I managed to add a bow and some pearls in the corner.  I also added some sparkle with a sakura glitter pen.  Hard to see in the picture.

That's it for me!  Thanks for stopping by and see you soon!

Just Us Girls #190 - Photo Inspiration Challenge and a Happy Birthday!

Hi everyone!  The Just Us Girls challenge this week is a photo inspiration challenge.  Marisa chose this fabulous picture of a cake.  Great colors, polka dots, chevrons, and a cool flower.

Here's a close-up of the photo so you can see the details better.
I loved the yellow, white, and gray color combo and the polka dots, so I started with that.  The gray dp is from an old SU paper pack, and the yellow is from Authentique's Blissful paper pack.  I used SU's basic gray paper and the yellow dp to make the flower using Papertrey Ink's Beautiful Blooms II #1 die.  I added a yellow glitter dot in the center and two off to the side.  The sentiment is from PTI's Birthday Style stamp set stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink.  This is all mounted on a Daffodil Delight card base.

Our design team member Vicki had a birthday this week, so we thought we'd make birthday cards for her.  Happy Birthday Vicki!  I stamped the inside of the card with PTI's new Ruby Rose stamp set.  Love that stamp!  I also used my new We Are Memories Keepers Envelope Punch Board (an envelope maker) to make an envelope out of the gray dp.  So cool!  (No picture of that...sorry!)

I used the Deconstructed Sketch for my layout, and pretty much CASED Jen's card.  Loved it!

Stop by these blogs for more inspiration and to see Vicki's birthday cards.

Just Us Girls #189 - Color Challenge

Happy Saturday!  Today is a special day for my family because my nephew is finally graduating from college today!  Mark is such a great guy...full of fun and adventure.  I wish him all the best and am so proud of him!

Today also begins a new challenge from Just Us Girls.  It's a color challenge and Vicki has chosen some great colors.

Here's my take on the colors.   The stamped design was created using Papertrey Ink's Modern Basics in Cameo Coral and Sahara Sand inks.  I mounted it on Cameo Coral cardstock.  The banner is Sahara Sand and I stamped the sentiment from Happy Trails in Versamark and embossed it in white.  The butterfly was cut with the Heart-2-Heart #10 die and stamped with the coordinating stamp in Cameo Coral.  I added bling to the antennae and some to the coral panel.  It's mounted on white and the base is Crumb Cake.  I'm going to send this to the mother who chaperoned our field trip yesterday.  She was a great chaperone to the kids, and it was nice having her on the trip with me.

I used this Clean and Simple sketch.

The JUGs design team has some great inspiration for you.  Check out these blogs.

Some Mother's Day Cards

Hi all!  I forgot to post these Mother's Day cards I feverishly made last Friday for my mom and MIL. This one was for my MIL.  I made easel cards because she likes them.  She always complains that my cards are too heavy and fall down all the time!  So these are the perfect fix for that!  The stamps used on both cards are from the Motherly Love set from Flourishes.

This one was for my mom.  She loves yellow and I like it paired with the blue.  I used two different paper packs for these and don't remember which ones are which.  I think the first one is from Pebbles Family Ties line.  The second is Authentique's Lively.

I used Verve's sketch for both cards.

Just Us Girls #188 - Technique Challenge

Hi there friends!  It's been a few days since I last posted....busy week!  But I'm here with a new technique challenge from Just Us Girls.  This week, Tangii came up with a great and easy technique...use some kind of white medium on your creation.  It could be white ink, white pencil, chalk, etc.

I recently took another class from Online Card Classes (His & Hers), and Jennifer McGuire made the coolest card with white pigment ink and dye inks.  I did something similar with my card.  I stamped the solid tree from PTI's Layered Postmarks:  Holiday in their Fresh Snow ink.  I overstamped the postmark print in Always Artichoke.  Then I added too many snowflakes (I never know when to quit!) and used the ink to shade around the kraft card stock.  I stamped the sentiment from PTI's Stylish Sentiments:  Holiday in Versamarkon velum and embossed it in white embossing powder.  I added a couple of sequins to the sentiment.  It's all mounted on an Always Artichoke base.  A sheer ribbon bow tops off the tree.

You can see more great inspiration from the JUGs DT at these blogs.

Thanks for stopping by!  I have Mother's Day cards to share.  Hopefully on Monday!  See you then!

My Time Made Easy - Year in Review

Hi everyone!  Have you seen the new products from My Time Made Easy?  You can see them here

Today is our Year in Review post where we use old and new products.  I chose to use this new cut file called Tiny Tucker Tab.  It is the cutest little box!

Here's the box.  It's all one piece, cut from one piece of cardstock.  I printed this print from the Bee Mine digital paper pack onto the cardstock and cut out the template.

On top is this bee.  I stamped the bee from Bee-Loved stamp set onto the bee cut file from the My Bee Loved cut file.  I added some glitter to the wings for some sparkle.  I also added a button on the front threaded with some black and white baker's twine.

I created a tag to go along with the box.  The tag is from the BFF Valentine Tags cut file.   I stamped the flower from Bee-Loved stamp set in Crushed Curry ink, then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set .  I added some of the decorative paper on the bottom and finished it off with some ribbon and a button.

You can see more My Time Made Easy inspiration at these blogs.

I also have to mention the winner of the MTME template of her choice:  Lori Aragon.  Please go the Lauren's blog to find out how to claim your prize!  Congrats!

My Time Made Easy - Release Day

Today is the day!  My Time Made Easy release day, and you can see all the new products here.  Did you guess what the template was in our peek giveaway contest?  Well today we get to tell you that the new template is a grill called Great Grillin.  Perfect timing for Father's Day.  This is the cutest little template to package up some grillin' stuff.

I cut the top of the template from S'more S'mores digital paper and accented it with Marina Mist and Early Espresso SU cardstock.  The mits were cut using the Sizzling Servings cut file.

When you open the lid of the grill, you will see a grill that can be lifted off to reveal a box that you can put your gift in.  I put some red filler paper inside to make it look like the grill was in use.

The entire team is posting today.  You can see what they created with this template at these blogs.

Tomorrow I'll announce the winner of our contest from yesterday, so come back then!  Thanks for stopping by!
